Lieutenant Colonel US Air Force retired

Normand R. Pratt, 88, of Tiverton, husband of the late Theresa L. (Massey) Pratt, died Saturday, August 1, 2009.

A graduate of BMC Durfee High School, Class of 1938, he attended Williams College School of Banking.

He was District Manager of Universal CIT Credit Corp. Providence and a Vice President at First Bristol County National Bank, Taunton and was a life member of the New England Assn. of Retail Lenders and former director of Credit Data of New England.

A WW II and the Korean War veteran, Lieutenant Colonel Pratt served in the Air Force for over 20 years and was a member of Post 18, American Legion, Portsmouth, RI, the Retired and Reserve Officers Associations.

He leaves a son, Richard N. Pratt of Tiverton and nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late Henri and Anna (Pelletier) Pratt and the brother of the late Benoit, Herve and Maurice Pratt.

His funeral will be held Thursday at 9:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in Holy Ghost Church, Tiverton, at 10:00 AM. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery.
