PETRONELLI, SYLVIA L. (DelSanto) 72, passed away August 6, 2009 at St. Antoine Home, North Smithfield. She was the beloved wife of John Petronelli. Born in Providence a daughter of the late Roger and Lucy (Esposito) DelSanto.
Mrs. Petronelli worked in the Accounting Department at Women & Infants Hospital for 22 years before retiring.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her daughter Cathy Houlihan and husband Art of Westerly, two sons; Vincent Petronelli and wife Denise of North Scituate and Michael Petronelli and wife Melinda of Johnston. Also survived by seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was the sister of Edward DelSanto of Voluntown, CT.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. from \\\\\\\"WOODLAWN\\\\\\\" Funeral Home 600 Pontiac Avenue Cranston with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Joseph Church, North Scituate.
