Lambert, Robert R., 61, of Yucaipa, CA, passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2009 at UMass Memorial Hospital in Worcester, MA. Bob had been visiting with family members for the summer when sadly he became ill. Bob was a good-hearted, loving person, known for his warmth and good humor, and will be deeply missed by family and friends. Bob loved spending time with his daughter, being close to the ocean, making model cars and listening to good rock n’ roll music.

Bob is survived by his beloved daughter, Mariesa Lambert, his “Sunflower”, who will miss him dearly, her fiancé, James Paquin, and his sweet two-year old grandson, Aiden Paquin, of Eastford, Connecticut. He also will be very much missed by his former wife and good friend, Diane Lambert, of Woodstock, Connecticut. Bob also leaves behind his devoted sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Dave Shively, of Calimesa, California, his nephew, Bill Verdugo and Carol Jean, of Carson City, Nevada, his aunt, Shirley Shively, of La Mirada, California and other relatives. He is the son of the late Sybil and Jack Lambert of La Mirada, California and the brother of the late Carl Dunning Jr.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, August 18th, at Woodlawn Funeral Home from 9:00 – 10:30 a.m. followed by a Christian funeral prayer service. Burial will be at St. Ann’s Cemetery in Cranston. May God bless his soul and may his family and friends be comforted that he is now at peace and reunited with other loved ones who have passed.
