Louis Mattos, 75, of N. Smithfield, died Tuesday at Landmark Medical Center. He was the husband of the late Alice B. (Chaston) Mattos and the son of the late John and Lucinda Mattos. He was employed as an accountant for International Packaging Co. from 1968-1994. Mr. Mattos was a Korean Navy veteran who served aboard the USS Pocono. His children John Mattos of N. Smithfield, Thomas Mattos of E. Greenwich, Louis Mattos Jr. of Douglasville, GA and Alison DeLorme of Clayton, NC, his brother John Mattos of Cumberland and 9 grandchildren survive him. He was the brother of the late Charles Mattos. His funeral and burial will be private. Calling hours are respectfully omitted.
