J. George Morin -- Lincoln

Bellows-Falso Funeral Chapel Lincoln – J. George Morin, 91, of Old Louisquisset Pike died peacefully Tuesday, September 8, 2009 at his home with his loving family around him.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Rachel (Bisson) Morin; his son, Richard Morin and his wife, Kelley and his granddaughters, Kara and Nicole, all of East Greenwich; and his nephews, Daniel, Majella and Buddy Morin. He was the brother of the late Louis Morin.

Born in Manchester, NH, a son of the late Leonidas and Bridget (Falls) Morin, he had lived in Lincoln for the past 54 years.

Mr. Morin proudly served his nation in the US Navy from 1941-1947.

He was a pioneer in the fast food business and had some of the most successful Burger Chefs in the country. He also started the Great House in Warwick and the Village Restaurant in Lincoln. After retiring, he traveled the world with his beloved wife with the Royal Travelers. He was an avid Fiddler and was a member of the RI Old Time Fiddlers as well as a 3rd Degree Knight of Lincoln Council #4005, Knights of Columbus. He was a member of the Lincoln Senior Center.

He was a communicant of the Church of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, North Providence.

His funeral will be held SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 12 at 8:30 A.M. from the BELLOWS-FALSO FUNERAL CHAPEL, 160 River Road, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 A.M. in the Church of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 1081 Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence. Burial, with military honors, will be in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham, MA.
