Mary Frances (VonFlatern) Dubuc -- East Providence
East Providence ~ Mary Frances Dubuc, age 84, of Rumford Towers, East Providence, passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2009, at Rhode Island Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Paul H. Dubuc.
Born in Blackstone, Massachusetts, on January 7, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Vina Von Flatern. She was the loving sister of John Hope and his wife Dianne of Bellingham, WA.
Mary’s pride and joy were her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She is survived by her eight children, Richard Hillier of Greenfield, MA, Jeanne H. Laffoley and her husband John, Jack Hillier, Kevin Hillier and his wife Joann, Steven Hillier and his wife Carolina all of New Smyrna Beach, FL, Jim Hillier of Ledyard, CT, Robert Hillier and his wife Cynthia of N. Providence, RI, and Kate Snyder and her husband Gary of Seekonk, MA.
She also is survived by 16 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Mary leaves many friends, including her cherished friend of more than 40 years, Michelle Ventola of Attleboro, MA.
Her funeral will be held Saturday, September 12th, at 9 a.m. from WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, RI, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church, Coyle Dr., Seekonk, MA.
