Frank A. Santos Sr., 60, famous comic stage hypnotist, died Tuesday at home. He was the husband of Karol A. (Nimiroski) Santos. Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of Frank Santos of Cumberland and the late Lucille (Gonsalves) Santos. Frank mesmerized audiences throughout New England and Las Vegas for over 30 years. His venue included comedy clubs, college campuses, private parties and banquets. He was a regular performer at The Kowloon Restaurant in Boston, Twin Rivers in Lincoln and numerous other locales. No matter where Frank traveled he was always proud to call Rhode Island his home. In addition to his wife and father he leaves his daughter, Lisa Towner and her husband Steve of Cumberland, his son Frank A. Santos Jr. and his wife Melani of Cumberland, his loving grandchildren, Steve and Alex Towner and Mya and Nolan Santos, his siblings Paul Santos of Cranston, and Stephen, Gary and Paula Santos of Cumberland. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 4-8 at the Lincoln Funeral Home, 1501 Lonsdale Ave., Lincoln, RI. Funeral and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Frank’s memory to the Providence Animal Rescue League, 34 Elbow St., Providence, RI 02903 or The Tomorrow Fund, RI Hospital Campus, 593 Eddy St., Providence, RI 02903 would be appreciated.
