ELLIS, FLORENCE M. (Brown) 88, of Peck Hill Road passed away Saturday September 26, 2009 at home. She was the wife of the late David E. Ellis. Born in Providence a daughter of the late Robert and Flora (Watson) Brown.
Mrs. Ellis is survived by two sons; David Ellis of Johnston and James Ellis and wife Janice of Warwick. One daughter; Rebecca Beaubien and husband David of Johnston. She was the mother of the late Elaine Hudson. She was the sister of Wallace Brown of CT, Evelyn Murray of Coventry, Ruth Kennedy of Warwick, Mary Reynolds of Coventry and the late Edward and Robert Brown and Dorothy Heilman. Also survived by nine grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
Her funeral will be Wednesday at 9 a.m. from "WOODLAWN" Funeral Home 600 Pontiac Avenue Cranston followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. in Phillips Memorial Baptist Church. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. Calling hours Tuesday 5-8 p.m.
