Pawtucket ~ Diane L. (Parent) Bachini, 71, a homemaker and former co-owner of Bachini’s Bakery, passed away Saturday, September 26, 2009 at home. She was the beloved wife of Charles M. Bachini. A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late George Parent and Hattie (Bromley) Whewell. After retirement, Diane and her husband enjoyed traveling. Besides her husband of 53 years, she leaves four children, Sandra J. Gaboriault and her husband Joseph of Pawtucket, Charles M. Bachini, Jr. and his wife Erin of Scituate, Gayle M. Judd and her husband Daniel of Burlington, MA and John C. Bachini of Pawtucket; two brothers, Raymond Whewell and George Parent; a sister, Judy Sabatini; seven grandchildren; a special friend, Helen Fontaine of California and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Donald Whewell, Carol Titus and Robert Parent. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday at 10 a.m. in St. Teresa Church, 358 Newport Ave., Pawtucket. Interment will follow at Mt.
