Gertrude R. (Anderson) ( Hunt, Carosi) Bushee, 83, a homemaker of Kingstown Road, died Wednesday at South County Hospital. She was the beloved wife of William F. Bushee and the late Aristide A. Carosi.

Born in West Warwick, she was the daughter of the late Carl V. and Regina M. (Gagnon) Anderson; she had previously resided in North Kingstown, East Greenwich, and Warwick.

Mrs. Bushee enjoyed sewing, knitting and decorating.

She was the loving mother of Carol J. Wheat of Warwick, Robert A. Carosi of North Kingstown, and William D. Carosi of Warwick. Caring step mother of Edward A. Carosi of Providence, William J. Bushee of Schenectady, NY, Robert C. Bushee of Wakefield, John D. Bushee of North Kingstown, and Judith A. Kierkoff of Scituate. Cherished sister of Robert Anderson of East Greenwich and the late Carl V. Anderson, Jr. and Harold F. Anderson. Devoted grandmother of fifteen and great grandmother of twelve.

Her Funeral Service will be held Saturday at 10:00 am in THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Warwick (Exit 12A on I-95). Relatives and friends are invited and may call Friday 4-7 pm. Burial will be private.
