Marcel N Lawrence -- West Warwick
Marcel N. Lawrence, 84, of Summit Avenue, died Thursday at Kent Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Beatrice A. (Forcier) Lawrence for 62 years.
Born in West Warwick, he was the son of the late Marshall and Aurore (Snow) Lawrence.
Mr. Lawrence was a self employed carpenter and enjoyed woodworking, fishing and hunting.
He was the loving father of Patricia Baker of West Warwick and Marcel D. Lawrence of Pawtucket. Cherished grandfather of four and great grandfather of three. He was the brother of the late Marguerite Lawrence.
His funeral will be held Monday at 9:00 am from THE PRATA-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 78 Providence Street, West Warwick with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 60 Pleasant Street, West Warwick. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, West Warwick. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Sunday 4-7 pm. In lieu of flowers, gifts in his memory to Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 60 Pleasant St., West Warwick, RI 02893 would be appreciated.
