Henry W Dyer -- East Providence
Dyer, Henry W., 86, died at Orchard View Nursing Home, October 4, 2009. He was the husband of the late Irene (Moore) Dyer. Born in Riverside, the son of the late Mary (Nixon) Dyer and Russell R. Dyer, Sr.
Henry served in the U.S. Navy during World War II, stationed in the European theater. He was employed by Shaw’s Market in East Providence for over ten years and was still working at the time of his death.
He is survived by his sister, Nancy C. Peterson of Coventry and several nieces and nephews; brother of the late Frank and Robert Ford, Russell R. Dyer, Jr., Evelyn Kettelle and Alice E. Bergeron.
A committal service will be held at the R.I. Veterans Cemetery in Exeter on Thursday, October 8, 2009 at 9:00 AM, gathering at the main entrance. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942, in her memory.
