Evelyn A (Magnuson) Ljungquist -- Warwick

Evelyn A. (Magnuson) Ljungquist, 97, of Warwick, died peacefully on October 6, 2009 at Kent County Hospital. She was the loving wife of the late Lincoln R. Ljungquist. Born in Worcester, Ma she was a daughter of the late Emil and Alma (Anderson) Magnuson.

Mrs. Ljungquist was a Physicians Assistant until her retirement in 1974. She was a member of the Greenwood Community Church, Presbyterian.

She leaves her two sons, David L. Ljungquist of Cheshire, CT and Dr. Robert S. Ljungquist of Goshen, CT. Cherished grandmother of 5 grandchildren and one great-grandson. She was the sister of the late Edith Reinshield and Agnes Ross.

Her funeral will be held Friday at 8:45 am from THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Greenwood, Warwick (Exit 12A off I-95) with a funeral service at 10:00 am in The Greenwood Community Church, Presbyterian, 805 Main Avenue, Warwick. Interment will follow in All Faiths Cemetery (formerly the New Swedish Cemetery), Worcester, MA. In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory to The Greenwood Community Church, Presbyterian, 805 Main Avenue, Warwick, RI 02886 or the American Cancer Society, 931 Jefferson Blvd, Suite 3004, Warwick, RI 02886 would be appreciated.
