Joseph S. Lachance Jr., of the Villa at St. Antoine, North Smithfield, died Monday at St. Antoine Residence. He was the husband of the late Regina R. (Lagasse) Lachance. Born in Woonsocket, he was a son of the late Joseph S. and Catherine (Green) Lachance. He was employed as a foreman for CJ Fox for over 45 years. Mr. Lachance was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of the American Legion Post of Manville. Survivors include his sons, Albert Lachance of Cumberland, Gerard Lachance of Edgewater NJ, and Donald Lachance of New Market MD, his daughters Dolores Milligan of Cumberland and Denise Soucar of Sandyhook CT, his brother Raymond Lachance and his wife Anita (Danello) of Franklin MA, 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Marguerite Fanion and Catherine DeSalvo. His funeral will be held on Thursday at 8:30 am from the Lincoln Funeral Home, 1501 Lonsdale Ave., Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Joan of Arc Church, Mendon Rd., Cumberland. Burial with military honors will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland. Calling hours are Wednesday from 4-8 pm.
