Masso, Irene E. (Levesque), 85, died October 11, 2009 at the home of her daughter, Ann. She was the wife of the late Thomas J. Masso. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Aubin) Levesque.

Irene was a bookkeeper with her late husband and was a member of the St. Anne Sodality of St. Lawrence Church.

She leaves eight children, Ann M. Masse of W. Kingston, Marilyn M. Haden of Prescott, AZ, Joan I. Miller of Cottonwood, AZ, Elizabeth F. Bourbon of Brewster, MA, Christine L. Masso of Sedona, AZ, Donna M. Peligian of Providence, Lauren J. Sprague of South Albany, NY, and Thomas J. Masso of Putnam, CT, nineteen grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and a brother, Joseph Levesque of Ocean, NJ. She was the sister of the late Louise Masso.

Her funeral will be held Friday at 9 am from the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence with a concelebrated Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Lawrence Church. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery. Calling hours Thursday 4-8 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Lawrence Church, 624 Woonasquatucket Ave., North Providence, RI 02911.
