Raymond E Duquette -- Pawtucket

William W. Tripp Funeral Home Pawtucket ~ Raymond E. Duquette, 81, passed away Monday, October 12, 2009 at home. He was the beloved husband of the late Annita (Gamba) Duquette. A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, he was a son of the late Emile and Louise (Rheaume) Duquette. Ray was a Korean War U.S. Army veteran. He was the proprietor of the former Gansett Sunoco, Pawtucket for 50 years until retiring in 1991. Ray was a member of the Pawtucket Lodge of Elks and a model train enthusiast. He was an avid NASCAR fan and had raced at the Seekonk Speedway in the 1950’s. He leaves a sister, Louise Swenson and her husband William of Titusville, Florida and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Emile Duquette, Alice Berg, his twin, Normand Duquette and Florence Prata. His funeral will be held Friday at 9 a.m. from WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Teresa Church, 358 Newport Ave., Pawtucket. Interment will follow at Mt.
