Jane S.R. (Rutherford) Burrows, 95, of Warwick Avenue, Warwick formerly of Sixth Avenue, East Greenwich, died Monday at home. She was the wife of the late Russell W. Burrows.

Born in Johnston, she was a daughter of the late William D.H. and Margaret A. (Taylor) Rutherford. Mrs. Burrows was self employed from 1947 until her retirement.

She was the loving grandmother of eight, great grandmother of fifteen, and great great grandmother of four. She was the mother of the late William H. Burrows and Mary Jane Rego and sister of the late Hannah T. Carlow.

Her Funeral Service will be held Friday at 11:00 am in THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Warwick (Exit 12A on I-95). Burial will follow in Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery, North Kingstown. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Gifts in her memory to V.N.A. Hospice of Care New England, 51 Health Lane, Warwick, RI 02886 would be appreciated.
