Noah J. “Jake” Dominique, Jr., 83, of Slocum Road, Saunderstown, died Tuesday at South County Hospital. He was the husband of the late Helen M. (Gardiner) Dominique.

Born in North Baltimore, Ohio, he was a son of the late Noah J. and Jeanette (Grime) Dominique. Mr. Dominique was a Nuclear Quality Control Inspector for General Dynamics Corp. for 27 years, retiring in 1988.

A WW II and Korean War Veteran, he served in The United States Navy for 23 years. He was a member of the National Rifle Assn.

He was the beloved father of Sherrilyn R. Dominique of Santa Cruz, CA and Marsha A. Mosher of New Port Ritchie, FL. Step father of Norman Gould of Exeter. Brother of James Dominique of Florida, Frances Ziems of Toledo, OH and the late Gabriel, Sylvester, Norbert, Hazel, and Margaret A. Dominique and Cyrilla Burkard. Grandfather of seven, great grandfather of thirteen, and great great grandfather of twelve. He also leaves his niece and caregiver, Elanor Tibbits of West Kingston.

A Graveside Service will be held Friday at 10:00 am in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, Victory Hwy(Route 102), Exeter. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at THE CRANSTON-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME of WICKFORD, 140 West Main Street, Wickford Village, North Kingstown. In lieu of flowers, gifts in his memory to The Alzheimer\'s Assn., 245 Waterman St., Suite 306, Providence, RI 02906 would be appreciated.
