Donald B. Packer Jr., 89, of Lincoln, died Tuesday at Woonsocket Health & Rehabilitation Center, Woonsocket. He was the husband of the late Martha S. (Szarek) Packer and the late Ruth A. (Willmott) Packer and the son of the late Donald B. and Emmeline (Camac) Packer. Mr. Packer was employed as a steel worker for Newman-Crosby Steel Co. for over 43 years. He was a World War II Army veteran. His daughter Marsha Conti of Center Barnstead, NH, his son Donald B. Packer III of Pascoag, 3 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews survive him. He was the brother of the late William, Joseph and Reginald Packer, Elizabeth Leech and Emmiline McCarthy. Committal Prayers will be offered on Saturday at 10:00 am at the Mausoleum in Highland Memorial Park, 1 Rhode Island Ave., Johnston. Burial will follow.
