Coventry – Ella F. (Champlin) Addy, 90, of Main Street died Thursday, October 15, 2009 at Riverview Health Care. She was the beloved wife of the late William Addy.

Born in Coventry she was a daughter of the late Henry and Ida (Congdon) Champlin and had lived in Brooksville, FL for thirty years before returning to Coventry six years ago.

Ella was a co-owner with her husband of several Coventry businesses before retiring.

She is survived by two sons Benjamin T. Addy of Coventry and Arthur H. Addy of West Warwick, one brother James Champlin of Bogart, GA, three grandchildren Michele Shadoian, Kelly Lowder and Stephen Addy and three great grandchildren Samantha R. and Melanie J. Lowder and Finnegan C. Shadoian. She was the mother of the late Donald Addy and sister of the late Olive Beauchaine, Helen C. Hopkins, Chauncey, Ralph, William and Chester Champlin.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 20 at 1:00 PM at Carpenter-Jenks Funeral Home & Crematory, 659 East Greenwich Avenue, West Warwick. Relatives and friends are invited and may call one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Rathbun Cemetery, Coventry.
