Betty C. Ucci, 86 of Providence, died Friday October 16, 2009 at the Berkshire Place Nursing Home, Providence.

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Chester and Sophie (Jordan) Lyon.

Mrs. Ucci is survived by her daughters, Sandra Rebello of North Providence and Sophie LeBeau of West Warwick. Her grandchildren, Ernest, Russell, Scott, Joseph, Debbie, Marilyn, Patti and Steven. Her great grandchildren, Justin, Nicholas, Jillian, Amanda, Rene, Ernest, Jr., Tyler, Casey and Michael. She was the mother of the late Barbara L. Harrington, grandmother of the late Kim and sister of the late William Lyon, Edward Lyon, Chester Lyon, Carolyn Miller, Doris Larkin and Hope Plante.

A funeral service will be Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at 10am at the Carpenter-Jenks Funeral Home and Crematory, 659 East Greenwich Avenue, West Warwick. Burial will be in Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery, North Kingstown. Information and condolences at www.carpenterjenks.com.
