GIACCHI, PETER; 79 formerly of Vinton St. passed away October 15, 2009 at the R.I. Veteran\'s Home, Bristol. Born in Providence a son of the late Bartolo and Gelsomina Giacchi. Mr Giacchi was a meat cutter for the family owned business Valley View Super Market in Providence. He was a Korean War Veteran serving in the U.S. Air Force. He is survived by his daughter Lisa Giacchi of North Providence, brothers John Giacchi of Warwick and Bart Giacchi of North Providence numerous nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Camella Fazioli.
His funeral and burial will be strictly private. Calling hours and flowers are respectfully omitted. Donations in his memory may be made to Hasbro Children\'s Hospital 593 Eddy St.. Providence, R.I. 02903
