Guido Santurri -- Cranston
Guido Santurri, 78, of Maple Street, Cranston, died Monday at Rhode Island Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Joyce E. (Bergin) Santurri.
Born in Cranston, he was a son of the late Joseph and Noiema (Manni) Santurri.
Mr. Santurri was a pest control specialist with Kent Exterminators in Warwick and was a veteran of the Korean War.
He was the loving father of Deborah Vaz of Cranston. Caring brother of John Santurri and Virginia Izzo, both of Cranston, Anna Hamel of Massachusetts, Viola Laspica of New York, and the late Alfred, Armando, and Mario Santurri, Jean Pellagreno, and Ida Bianco. Cherished grandfather of Crystal Peterson, Damian Peterson, and Chloe Bergin.
His funeral will be held Thursday at 8:45 am from THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Warwick (Exit 12A on I-95) with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Ann Church, 1493 Cranston Street, Cranston. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Wednesday 5-8 pm. Burial will be private.
