Edward F McDeed -- Warwick
Edward F. McDeed, 73, of Canonchet Avenue died Wednesday at Rhode Island Hospital.
Born in Providence, a son of the late Arthur V. and Hannah C. (O’Connor) McDeed, he was a Warwick resident for over 40 years. Mr. McDeed was a PBX repairman at the New England Telephone Company and AT&T for 30 years before retiring in 1987. He served in the United States Navy and was a member of the U.B.E.W Local 2323, The Telephone Pioneers, and the Pawtuxet Athletic Club.
He leaves 1 sister, Anne M. Maloney of Warwick; 2 nieces, Kathleen M. Finan of Cranston and Patricia A. Wood of Warwick; 1 nephew, Steven P. Wood of Cranston. He was the brother of the late Arthur V. McDeed, Jr.
His funeral will be Saturday at 9 AM from the Frank P. Trainor & Sons Funeral Home, 982 Warwick Avenue, Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial in Saint Peter Church, Fair Street, Warwick at 10 AM.
