East Providence – Edna L. (Grant) Crawshaw, 97, formerly of Rumford Towers, passed away Sunday, October 25, 2009. She was the beloved wife of the late Walter E. Crawshaw. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Edith (Sherman) Grant. Edna resided in Ocala, Florida before moving to Rumford in 1996. She was the Assistant Personnel Director at the Diplomat Hotel, Hollywood, Florida for seven years before retiring in 1976. She was previously the Assistant Personnel Manager at the South Florida State Hospital, Hollywood, Florida. She leaves her daughter, Jacqueline E. Crawshaw with whom she made her home. She was the sister of the late Henry F. Grant. Her services will be private. Arrangements are with the WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.
