Elizabeth (Krus) Baton -- South Kingstown

Elizabeth (Krus) Baton, 92, of River Street, Wakefield, died Thursday at South County Hospital. She was the wife of the late Arthur H. Baton, Sr.

Born in Arcadia, RI, she was a daughter of the late John A. and Louisa (Kunze) Krus.

Mrs. Baton was a lace puller for the Alton Lace Mill.

She was the beloved mother of Harold W. Baton and his wife Shirley of West Greenwich, Robert L. Baton and his wife Georgianna of Boyton, SC, Eleanor Smith of Pompano Beach, FL, Nancy E. Tanner and her husband Ralph of Ocala, FL, Linda Baton of Wakefield, Debra J. Baton of North Kingstown, and the late Arthur H. Baton, Jr. Caring sister of Florence Melbourne of Charlestown. Cherished grandmother of twenty-two, great grandmother of thirty-seven, and great great grandmother of seven.

A Graveside Service will be held Tuesday at11:00 am in Rockville Cemetery, Canonchet Road, Hopkinton. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours are respectfully omitted.
