Raymond L Laplante -- Providence
Laplante, Raymond L., 82, of Providence, died October 31, 2009 at Miriam Hospital. He was the husband of Estella M. (Randle) Laplante. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Magloire and Rosana (Lefebvre) Laplante.
Raymond was machinist for C.O. Hoffacker for many years before retiring. He was a World War II and Korea Army Veteran.
Besides his wife, he leaves three children, Norma McCordy and her husband Michael of Providence, David Laplante and his wife Debbie of Johnston, and Marcia Rapone and her husband Paul of Warwick, seven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and a sister, Annette Golios of Florida. He was brother of the late Louis G. Laplante.
His funeral will be held Wednesday at 10 AM in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. Calling hours Tuesday 4-8 PM. Please omit flowers.
