Bridgid M. Gribbin, (Smith), 90, of Grant Avenue died Sunday at the West View Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Daniel J. Gribbin.

Born in County Caven, Ireland, a daughter of the late Patrick J. and Elizabeth (McGarrahan) Smith, Sr. Mrs. Gribbin was an assembler at the Davol Rubber Company for 22 years before retiring in 1982.

She leaves 2 sons, Daniel J. Gribbin, Jr. of Honey Brook Township, PA. and James E. “Ted” Gribbin of Coventry. 1 daughter, Donna M. Butler of Cranston. 1 brother, John J. Smith of Warwick; 8 grandchildren great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She was the mother of the late Elizabeth A. MacDonald and sister of the late James E. “Teddy” Smith, Patrick J. Smith, Jr., William W. Smith, and Mary M. Antonson.

Her funeral will be Thursday at 8:45 AM from the Frank P. Trainor & Sons Funeral Home, 982 Warwick Avenue, Warwick. Funeral services in the Lighthouse Christian Center, 39 Nooseneck Hill Road, West Greenwich, RI at 10 AM. Calling hours Wednesday 4-7 PM.
