Jeanne T L'Heureux -- Pawtucket

Pawtucket ~ Jeanne T. “Bubbles” L’Heureux, 83, formerly of Newell Ave., passed away Sunday, November 1, 2009. Born in Lowell, MA, the daughter of the late Romeo R. and Eva A. (Roy) L’Heureux, she resided in Pawtucket most of her life. Jeanne was the bookkeeper at Woodlawn Laundry & Cleansers, Inc., Pawtucket for fifty-five years until retiring in 2002. She was active in the Diocese of Providence; a communicant of St. John the Baptist Church and a former member of the choir. She was also active in Girl Scouts all of her life, and was a Leader for Girl Scouts of RI. She leaves her brother, Roland R. L’Heureux of West Warwick; nephews, Dennis G. and David R. L’Heureux; nieces, Linda L. L’Heureux, Donna L. Balmforth, Diane M. Horrocks and Lynn M. Moran. She was the sister of the late Leo H. L’Heureux. Her funeral will be held Friday at10 a.m. from WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. John the Baptist Church, 68 Slater St., Pawtucket.
