Olyott, Kenneth A., 80, of Marco Drive, passed away peacefully in his home Saturday February 27, 2010 with his loving family in attendance. He was the beloved husband of Bertha (Fox) Olyott of West Warwick.
Born in Pawtucket, the son of the late John and Gladys (Herbert) Olyott, he lived in West Warwick for the past 11 years.
Mr. Olyott was a United States Army Veteran serving in the Korean War and recipient of the Purple Heart.
He was a member of Riverpoint Congregational Church and enjoyed photography, music and spending time with his grandsons.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his two daughters, Donna Dasnabedian and her husband Aram, and Leslie Olyott Hackman and her husband Jan, three grandchildren David, Jared and Ryan Dasnabedian and his sister Barbara Johnson.
A Memorial Service will be held at Carpenter-Jenks Funeral Home & Crematory, 659 East Greenwich Ave., West Warwick on Wednesday, March 3rd at 11:00 AM followed with interment at the RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter with full military honors.
