Raymond T Vallier -- North Kingstown

Raymond T. J. Vallier, 75, of North Kingstown, died peacefully on May 20, 2010 at South County Hospital. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Thomas J. Vallier and Marie A. (Robenhymer) Vallier. He was the husband of the late Elizabeth A. (Moone) Vallier.

Mr. Vallier was an employee for the North Kingstown Water Department for 20 years until his retirement in 1993. He enjoyed woodworking and taking care of his family.

He leaves his nine children: Karen T. Hornik of Coventry, Donald D. Vallier of Oklahoma City, OK, Michael R. Vallier of West Warwick, David T. Vallier of Martinez, GA, Valerie R. Morris of North Kingstown, Fred S. May of North Kingstown, Christopher P. May of North Kingstown, Bryan D. May of North Charleston, SC, and Rebecca R. May of Chesapeake, VA. He was the father of the late Christina McGlynn. Loving brother of Grace Young of Florida, Beatrice Gardiner of North Kingstown. He was the brother of the late Albert Vallier. Mr. Vallier leaves 26 Grandchildren, 24 Great-Grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

His funeral will be held on Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at 10:00 am in THE CRANSTON-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME of WICKFORD, 140 West Main Street, Wickford Village, North Kingstown. Burial with full Military Honors will follow in The RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home on Monday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm.
