Evelyn C Lufkin -- Exeter
LUFKIN, Evelyn C., 82, of Exeter, died peacefully at Kent Hospital on May 20, 2010. Born in Newport, she was a daughter of the late Albert H. Caswell and Katherine H. (Holt) Caswell. She was the wife of the late Howard S. Lufkin.
Mrs. Lufkin was a Homemaker who enjoyed sewing, gardening, and nature.
She leaves her four children: Carl R. Lufkin of Warwick, Craig H. Lufkin of Exeter, Curt W. Lufkin of North Kingstown, and Robin L. Johnson of Saylorsburg, PA. She was the loving sister of Donald H. Caswell of FL and Marjorie H. Anthony of North Dighton, MA. She leaves ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Her funeral will be held on Saturday, June 12, 2010 at 9:30 am in THE CRANSTON-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME of WICKFORD, 140 West Main Street, Wickford Village, North Kingstown. Relatives and friends are invited and may call from 8:30 to 9:30 am prior to the funeral service. Burial will follow in The RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. www.murphyfuneralhomes.org
