Phyllis M (Chisholm) Kettelle -- Exeter

KETTELLE, Phyllis M. (Chisholm), 76, of Exeter, died peacefully at home on May 25, 2010.  Born in Warwick, she was a daughter of the late Donald Chisholm and Dorothy (Allen) Chisholm.  She was the loving wife of H. Grant Kettelle.                 
Mrs. Kettelle worked as a Computer Data Operator for General Dynamics until her retirement. She was a member of the American Legion Post 12 Ladies Auxillary. She was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots.
Besides her husband, she leaves her three sons, Scott G. Kettelle of Exeter, Donald F. Pontarelli of Hope Valley, and Richard W. Pontarelli of Exeter.  She was the mother of the late Timothy G. Kettelle and sister of the late Donald Chisholm, Thomas Chisholm, and Barbara Johnson.  She was the loving grandmother of Dorrie Pontarelli, Donald Pontarelli, and Michelle Kettelle.                 
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service on Saturday, May 29, 2010 at 10:00 am in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, Ten Rod Road, Exeter.  In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory to The American Cancer Society, 931 Jefferson Blvd, Suite 3004, Warwick, RI 02886.  Arrangements have been entrusted to THE CRANSTON-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME of WICKFORD.  www.murphyfuneralhomes.org
