George H. Goodrum -- Fall River

George H. Goodrum, of Westport, died peacefully at home, Monday, June 28, 2010, in his 82nd year. A commercial fisherman, he also operated Goodrum’s Used Cars, Fall River. A lover of animals, especially cats, he enjoyed bowling, the outdoors, hunting, fishing and quahogging.

He leaves his partner, Florence (Jean) Letourneau of Westport; his former wife Patricia (Robert) Quinn of Assonet; 3 children, Pamela Turick and her husband Mark of Westport, Marcia Goodrum and her husband Kevin Reilly of Touisset, RI and George R. Goodrum of Assonet; grandchildren Evan and Katrina Turick; a brother, William P. Goodrum of Syracuse, NY; nieces and nephews; Florence’s children, Bruce and Gary Letourneau and Debra Borges, all of Westport and their children, Bryan, Carrie, Jamie, Julie, Christopher and Kara. He was the son of the late William and Lillian (Hammond) Goodrum and the brother of the late Ralph Goodrum.
