Alice M (Valenti) Poulin -- Pawtucket

Pawtucket – Alice M. (Valenti) Poulin, 79, passed away at home surrounded by loved ones on Sunday, July 4, 2010. She was the wife of the late Aldore A. Poulin and the late Bernard J. Cullen. Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Pasquale G. Valenti and Grace M. (Rose) Scuncio, she resided in Warwick before moving to Pawtucket in1978. She was an S&S operator at Fuller Packaging Company for many years until retiring in 1993. Alice was a loving mother and grandmother, and enjoyed solving word search puzzles. She leaves a son, Joseph Cullen of Pawtucket; three daughters, Grace Norton, Doris Poulin and Debra Higgins all of Pawtucket; a sister, Grace Hardy of Warwick; ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Dennis Cullen and the sister of the late Alfred, Tony and Joseph Valenti. Her funeral will be held Thursday at 8 a.m. from WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. in St. Teresa Church, 358 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.
