Kathleen` "Kathy" J Podgurski -- West Warwick

Podgurski, Kathleen J., 59, of Wakefield Street passed away on Friday, July 2, 2010. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of Vincent F. Podgurski of West Warwick and Jane M. (Levine) Podgurski of West Warwick.
Kathy was a graduate of Rhode Island College in Social Services, an advocate for the physically challenged and was very active in P.A.R.I. She was an avid Red Sox fan and had a great sense of humor.

Besides her parents she is survived by her step mother Brenda D. Podgurski of West Warwick, three siblings: Maureen DiChristofaro of Hope, Charleen Haas of FL and Timothy Podgurski of Coventry. She was the sister of the late Michael Podgurski and step sister of the late Bernard Lessard and Joseph Lessard. She has 3 nieces and 2 nephews.

Visitation will be held at Carpenter-Jenks Funeral Home & Crematory, 659 East Greenwich Avenue, West Warwick on July 10th from 2 – 4 PM.
