Lincoln – William N. Hunter, Jr., 97, formerly of Arlington Drive died Monday, June 28, 2010 at the Tockwotton Home, Providence. He was the husband of the late Christina A. (Stewart) Hunter.
Born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada, a son of the late William N. and Annabella (Smith) Hunter, he had lived in Lincoln for over 40 years.
Mr. Hunter was the chief draftsman for Mossberg-Hubbard Company, Cumberland for 36 years, retiring in 1978.
He was a member of Calvin Presbyterian Church, Cumberland.
He is survived by one daughter, Linda Padoll of Rumford; three grandchildren, Christopher Hunter of Providence, Michael Roperti of Marana, AZ and Dana Packer of Lincoln; and one great granddaughter, Kayla Roperti of Fairhaven, MA. He was the father of the late David B. Hunter.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Memorial Service SATURDAY, JULY 24 at 11 A.M. in Calvin Presbyterian Church, 126 Angell Road, Cumberland.
