Urquhart-Murphy Funeral Home Dorothea L.Crecelius, 82, of Warwick, died peacefully at Kent Hospital on Wednesday, July 21, 2010. Born in Cranston, she was a daughter of the late Joseph O\'Brien and Dianna (Dufresne) O\'Brien. She was the wife of the late Robert E. “Red” Crecelius.

Mrs. Crecelius was a Quality Control Operator for Leviton Manufacturing Company for over forty years until her retirement. She enjoyed playing cards at the Coventry and East Greenwich Senior Centers, where she and her sister Eleanor were known as the original “Twisted Sisters.”

She leaves her two daughters, Gail Longpre of Suffolk, VA and Lynn C. Bannon of East Greenwich. Loving grandmother of Erica Flood, Julia Bannon, Stephanie Dutra, Nicholas Longpre, Michael Bannon, Connor Bannon, Jennifer Bannon, and two great-grandchildren. She the sister of Eleanor Byers of Warwick and the late Edward, Joseph, George, Walter, and William O\'Brien.

Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Monday, July 26, 2010 from 9:00 to 10:00 am in THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Greenwood, Warwick (Exit 12A off I-95) with a service to follow at 10:00 am in the funeral home. Burial will follow in the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.
