George DiNunzio -- Bristol

DiNUNZIO, GEORGE ; 93 of Bristol, passed away peacefully July 30, 2010 at the home of his daughter in Barrington. He was the beloved husband of the late Margaret (Falcone) DiNunzio. Born in Providence a son of the late Francesco and Giovannina (Tasillo) DiNunzio. Mr DiNunzio was an employee of the State of R.I. at the MHRH before retiring. He was a WW II Army Veteran a recipient of the purple heart. He was a member of the D.A.V. Chapter 10.
He was the beloved father of Cynthia Ann Duffy and her husband William C. Duffy of Barrington, Loving grandfather of Amanda Duffy Pierce and her husband Martin Jonathan Pierce . of Riverside, Great grandfather of William Martin Pierce and Elle Margaret Pierce. Brother of Mary DiNunzio and Emma Antonucci both of Chepachet and, Anna Paolilli of Providence and the late Domenic, Louis, Joseph, Philip,and Egidio DiNunzio and Angelina DiGiralamo.Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial MONDAY at 11 a.m. in St. Mary of the Bay Church 645 Main St. Warren. Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery. Calling hours and flowers are respectfully omitted. Donations in his memory may be made to Home & Hospice Care of R.I. 1085 North Main St. Providence, R.I. 02904
