HEALEY, Robert J., 69, of Wilmington, NC, formerly of Warwick, passed away Thursday morning, May 19, 2011 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence.
He was the husband of the late Jean D. (McPeak) Healey. Born in Providence, a son of the late Joseph B. and Marion (Wilson) Healey. He was the former husband of Lorraine (DiPrete) Healey.
Mr. Healey was a produce manager at the former Almacs Supermarkets for 32 years before retiring.
He leaves a daughter, Melissa Cahoon and her husband Tim of Warwick; six step-children, Anthony “Jay” Caniglia, Mary Ellen Caniglia, Andrew Caniglia, Amy Canario, Evelyn “Lyn” Corpus and Margaret Phelps; a sister, Barbara McCann; four brothers, Edward, Joseph, James and Raymond Healey; eleven grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
His funeral will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2011, at 8 am from the HENAULT-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 5 Eddy St., West Warwick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9 am in St. Mary Church, Church St., West Warwick. Interment will follow in Greenwood Burial Grounds, Coventry. Visiting hours Friday 6-9 pm.
