RUDOLPH, Paul L., 89, a resident of Hope for most of his life, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2012 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence.
He was the beloved husband of Shirley M. (Colvin) Gadoury-Rudolph, they had been married for 24 years. Born in Middleboro, MA, a son of the late Paul C. and Anna R. (Griswold) Rudolph.
Mr. Rudolph was employed with General Dynamics, Electric Boat Division for many years before retiring in 1986. He was a World War II Army Veteran and reenlisted in the Air Force during the Korean War. He was a member of the Masons and Shriners.
Besides his wife he leaves seven step-children, Norman Gadoury of Providence, Allan Gadoury of Bozeman, Montana, David Gadoury and his wife Francine of Geneva, New York, Sheryl Petrarca and her husband James of Hope, Sharon Marsocci of Foster, Ann Shopland of Simpsonville, SC and Susan Gadoury of Fountain Inn, SC; six step-grandchildren and three step-great grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Edward Rudolph, Charles Rudolph, Dorothy Rudolph, Audrey Manning and Mary Kollet.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial gathering in the HENAULT-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 5 Eddy St., West Warwick on Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2012 from 9:00-11:00 am followed by a service at 11:00 am. Inurnment will follow with military honors in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston, RI.
