Brenda M (McKillop) Boyd -- Portsmouth

Bellows Funeral Chapel Portsmouth – Brenda M. (McKillop) Boyd, 69, of Franklin Terrace died Monday, January 21, 2013 at Newport Hospital, Newport. She was the beloved wife of William D. Boyd.

Born in Mansfield, MA, a daughter of the late Donald and Margaret (Jones) McKillop, she had lived in Plainville, MA for 22 years and Heath, OH for 13 years before moving to Portsmouth 3 years ago.

Mrs. Boyd worked for the Department of Unemployment in Attleboro, MA before becoming an office manager in an optometrist’s office for several years before retiring.

She was a member of the Red Hat Society.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her loving children, Sherry Thibeault and her husband, Dean of Mendon, MA and Scott D. Boyd and his wife, Tracy of Portsmouth; one sister, Donna Dunn of Wrentham, MA; one brother, Donald McKillop, Jr. of Blue Hill, ME; two grandsons, Reis and Bailey Thibeault; and several nieces and nephews.

Her funeral service will be held SATURDAY, JANUARY 26 at 10 A.M. at BELLOWS FUNERAL CHAPEL, 160 River Road, Lincoln. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.
