CARROCCIA, IDA (Albanese) 89 of Johnston, passed away January 19, 2013 at Kent Hospital. She was the beloved wife for 65 years of John Carroccia. Born in Providence a daughter of the late Domenic and Marie (Lava) Albanese. Mrs Carroccia was a jewelry worker for Dee\'s Jewelry Co. Besides her husband she is survived by her children John Carroccia and Gale Carroccia. Grandchildren Lisa and Melisa and 8 great grandchildren. Sister of Olga Palleschi and the late John and Vincent Albanese, Julia Della Morte, Rose Cipriano, Dora Lupo, and Gilda Albanese. Her funeral is Tuesday at 10:15 a.m. from \'\'WOODLAWN\'\' Funeral Home 600 Pontiac Ave. Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Rocco\'s Church Johnston. Burial will be in St. Ann\'s Cemetery. VISITATION TUESDAY MORNING 9 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the R.I. Heart Fund 1 State St. Suite 200 Providence, R.I. 02908
