LINCOLN – Louise Godin, 77, of Garden Drive, returned to the arms of her heavenly father surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of her devoted husband, Adrien (Andy) Godin for fifty-eight years. She was the daughter of the late Lea and Wilfred Charbonneau.
Besides her husband, she leaves behind her loving children, Michael Godin, and his wife Sharon, of Pawtucket, Lynne Doiron, and her husband Daniel, of Lincoln, Lise Hannon, and her husband Wayne, of Lincoln, Steven Godin, and his wife Tracey of Buffalo, N. Y., and Scott Godin, and his wife Kathleen of Coventry. She was the proud grandmother of nine grandchildren, Brianne Godin, Ashley and Jonathan Doiron, Christopher and Amanda Hannon, Timothy, Jennifer and Nicholas Godin, and Connor Godin. She was the sister of Hector Charbonneau of Florida, and the late Armand, Bernard, Raymond, Paul, John, Lorette and Georgette Charbonneau, and Estelle Moreau.
Her faith-filled life was centered around her husband and family. She was a communicant of Saint Ambrose Church. She loved cooking, crafts and working in her flower beds, but most of all, spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Her funeral will held Friday, October 4, at 8:45 a.m. from BELLOWS FUNERAL CHAPEL, 160 River Road, Lincoln, with the celebration of a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in Saint Ambrose Church, 191 School Street, Albion. Burial will follow in Saint Ambrose Cemetery, Albion.
