Mr. Armando Centazzo, age 88, of 153 Fatima Drive, Bristol, died Friday, January 27, 2006 at Rhode Ialand Hospital, Providence. He was the husband of Jennie (Carloni) Centazzo, his wife of 64 years. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Peter and Concetta (DeCubbellis) Centazzo. A resident of Bristol for 52 years, he previously resided in Providence. He was the owner and operator of Reliable Pest Control of Bristol for 51 years, retiring in 1983. He was a Corporal in the US Army during WWII, in both the European and Pacific Theaters. He was a Communicant of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Bristol and a member of the Anthony C. Almeida Post # 237, V.F.W., the American Legion Post # 6, and the Cappucci-Weir Post, ITAMS, all of Bristol. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Armand P. "Butch" Centazzo and David P. Centazzo, both of Bristol, a brother, Joseph Centazzo of Providence, six grandchildren, David Centazzo of Salem, NH, Nicole Daniello of Tiverton, RI, Kimberly Centazzo of Washington, DC, Dawn Grantham, Kevin Centazzo and Michael Hoffman, all of Bristol. Six great grandchildren, Arianna, Gianna, Hannah, Kailey, Jacob and AJ. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by by two brothers, Frank and Alexander Centazzo, four sisters, Josephine Mantia, Mary Kirlis, Antonetta Melucci and Adelaide Christopher. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial, Friday, February 3, 2006 at 10:30 AM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 141 State Street, Bristol. Burial with Military Honors will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol. Visiting Hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 222 Richmond Street, Providence, RI 02903. Arrangement have been entrusted to the Sansone Funeral Home, Bristol.
