Amelia M. (Jacobson) Kindstedt, 81, of Northbridge, MA died peacefully
on Sunday, December 30 at Milford Regional Medical Center with her
family by her side.Amy was born in Providence, RI on February 25, 1926, the daughter of
the late Carl and Emelia Jacobson. She spent much of her adult life in
MA with her family, then spent several happy years in Jericho, VT
before returning to MA with her husband Edward to live with their
daughter?s family in Northbridge.Amy is survived by her husband of 55 years, Edward Kindstedt of
Northbridge, her sons Carl Kindstedt of Rye, NH and Paul Kindstedt of
Burlington, VT, daughter Joyce Lombardo of Northbridge, and sisters
Thelma Nasman of Arlington, MA and Winifred Craw of Cottonwood, AZ.
She was predeceased by her brother George Jacobson. Amy chose to
center her life around her family and Church. She was humble in the
noblest sense, contented in all circumstances, and filled with a deep
desire to serve others and her Lord. She was a beloved wife, mother
and grandmother who touched many lives beyond her own family through
her love and service. All who knew Amy will sorely miss her.
The family is having a memorial service at 10:00 AM on Jan. 5 at
First Congregational Church of Hopkinton, MA. In lieu of flowers,
contributions in Amy's memory can be made to the Missionary fund,
First Congregational Church, 146 E Main St., Hopkinton, MA 01748
