Paul A Ganz -- Foster
Paul A. Ganz, age 75 of Foster, died Friday at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. He was the husband of the late Susan E. (Plouffe) Ganz.
Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Walter G. and Vernice (Irons) Ganz and had lived in Coventry, Ocala Florida before moving to Foster in 2005. he was a licensed Funeral director and Embalmer working for several funeral homes in Rhode Island. Paul was also a Fire Fighter serving as a Past Deputy Chief of the Greenville Volunteer Fire department. He was a member of the Fire Chiefs Club of Rhode island, A Life Member RI State Firemen’s League, a past Delegate of the Pawtuxet Valley Firemen’s League and a member of Cornerstone of Faith United Methodist Church, Coventry.
He is survived by three sons: Norman Ganz of Warwick, Stephen Ganz of Cranston and Carl Ganz of Warwick. His step-children John Mann and Kelly Quinn both of Exeter, his brothers Neal Ganz and Gary Fisher, six grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
A Memorial service will be Wednesday Jan. 9 at 11 am at the Cornerstone Of Faith United Methodist Church, 1081 Main Street, Coventry.
