WESTPORT FORMERLY OF LITTLE COMPTON, SOMERSET & FALL RIVER

Edward “Ed” Littlefield, 90, of Meadow Rd., Westport, MA, formerly of Little Compton, RI, Somerset and Fall River, husband of Bernadette R. (Chretien) Littlefield, died Friday, February 22, 2008.

An Army veteran of WW II and union carpenter, he was a member of Local 1305, Carpenter’s Union, Fall River. He enjoyed vegetable gardening.

Besides his wife of 62 years, he leaves 2 daughters, Mary Fernandes and her husband James of Hartsville, SC and Carol Littlefield of Westport and nieces and nephews.

He was the son of the late Everett and Mary (Foley) Littlefield and the brother of the late Madeline, William and Francis Littlefield, Dorothy Fox and Helen Miozza.

His funeral will be held Monday at 9:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in Our Lady of Grace Church, Westport, at 10:00 AM. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery.
