Elisa (Anunciacao) Melo, 47, of Westport, formerly of Fall River, wife of 27 years to Adriano Melo, died Monday, March 10, 2008 at home. Born in Luzinde, Portugal, she had been employed by Looking Upwards, Middletown and by Quaker Fabric, Fall River.

Besides her husband, survivors include 3 children, Gina, Diana and Adriano Melo, Jr. all of Westport, her mother, Laurinda Anunciacao of Portugal, 7 siblings, Maria Felix, Ricardo and Joseph Anunciacao, all of Fall River and Emily DeMelo,Julieta Abreu, Americo and Elisio Anunciacao, all of Portugal, and nieces and nephews.


Funeral Wednesday at 8:45 AM from AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 S. Main St. Fall River, with a funeral mass in St. George Church, Westport, at 10 AM. Burial in Notre Dame Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday from 4 to 8 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care, 502 Bedford St. Fall River, MA 02720 or Susan G. Komen for the Cure
