Anna M (Hafferty) Cogean -- Scituate
COGEAN, Anna M. Cogean (Hafferty), 68, of North Scituate, passed away Thursday, May 8, 2008 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital in North Providence. She was the beloved wife of Walter H Cogean, Sr. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Melina (Moquin) Hafferty.
Anna had worked as a CNA at Cedar Crest Nursing Centre in Cranston for 18 years. She was a lifelong resident of North Scituate.
Besides her husband of 52 years, she leaves four sons, Joseph Cogean, Walter Cogean, Jr., Michael A. Cogean, Sr. and Charles Cogean; twelve grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; a brother, Joseph Hafferty and a sister, Theresa Lallier.
Her funeral will be held Monday at 9:00am from the MACERONI Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Graveside Service at 10:00am in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. VISITATION Sunday 5-8pm. maceroni.com
